Any human heart is opened and feels the power of divine love when that human heart has passion and purposeful intention to live fully and openly.  This video explores the nature of God and the nature of feminine power.  A gentleman friend told me the other day, “If women really knew how powerful they were, they would be blown away.”

Women’s time is now. It is our time as women to shine in all our feminine glory, in all of our spiritual power, and in all of our true greatness. Women have been taught to be subservient, to step down, and to not make waves.

But make waves we should, because our natural intuitive powers are so needed in our world today. People everywhere young and old need to see the examples of women everywhere shining their light brighly, making their opinions known, and shouting from the rooftops their passionate beliefs and desires.

I watched my daughter dance with 8 other 4-year-old girls today. They were so beautiful and innocent in their little ballet shoes and fluffy skirts. Those young girls need to see examples of women before them who were fearless. They need to see women of courage speaking out and stepping up.

Will you step up with me in your own power? Will you step up with me in your true spiritual greatness? Your femininity is part of what makes you special. Our patriarchal world could use some high heels in the mix of black leather flats.

Remeber how your feminine spiritual power gives you all the strength and support you need to live with passion and purpose. Remember how powerful you are, and remember to go inside yourself for the truth of who you are. Go inside yourself and get quiet.

Get quiet within and you’ll feel the emotions you need to feel. Ask yourself what it is you want in your life. Ask your creator during your still times of mediation or contemplation how you are special and unique.

On day #271 of my year-long journey I examined the meaning of my sand play world.

The story is about a girl who shouts to the world, “I’m here!” She takes her rightful place on the seat of wisdom, because she knows she deserves to be honored and heard. She is ready to share her gifts with the world without apology, with true power, being the very best she can be.

Knowing her life matters, that she will never get this chance again to be in this body again, with these life circumstances and people in the same way again, she lives with purpose and decides to serve others as much as possible.

This tray relates to my own life as I have stepped into my true power. I have discovered more clearly my purpose, the one reason I was born, and how I can serve others.

I have grown and changed over the years, moving from extreme anxiety into inner peace. I’ve done with by practicing daily meditation, mindfulness, visioning, and sand play. Now I show other women how to do the same.

A course in miracles speaks of the connection we all have to one another, and the magic of life. This video discusses the power of our relationships with others, and especially how spiritually connected we are in terms of contracts we have with one another, and agreements we keep with others.

I had the best experience today. I felt totally and completely connected to 800 people; we were at Expert’s Academy, which is a seminar teaching about marketing and helping a wider audience with your message. These spiritual connections in relationships gave me peace.

Learning from and meeting person after person with the same light in their eyes as me, the same drive and determination, the same loving heart, and the same excitement made me feel spiritually whole. It was as if every person I met was a new soul mate, a new partner, a new light.

It was as if every single person at this event was there because of a higher purpose, a higher agreement. I imagined all of us in the spiritual world before we were born, when we were planning our lives, agreeing on this mission.

I imagined us in a meeting where the leader says, “Ok, listen up everyone. Now if Brendon Burchard chooses to fulfill his mission and does create Expert’s Academy, then we will all go and learn from him. We will meet in California in mid September, 2011, and we will remind one another of our own unique purpose. We will then help one another to fulfill our own life missions. Got it? Agreed? Ok, let’s roll.”

What times in your life have you felt so absolutely connected to another group of people, or another person and you felt a sense of remembering. You felt a sense of being spiritually connected. You felt as if a part of you had come home, and a wise part of you was in control.

Ego is the one thing that keeps us from moving into our purpose and hearing the wisdom from our soul.  Ego separates are psyche into two halves; the shadow and the light.  The power of Debbie Ford’s work regarding the ego in this short video showing the light and shadow of our inner selves.  I’m a fan of Debbie Ford because she has brought to light how we need to balance ourselves from the inside out by acknowledging and owning our shadow selves; the parts of us we detest, adhore, deny, hate, and loathe.  In embracing those parts of ourselves we have room for truth and room to authentically blossom into greatness.

Debbie Ford is one of our greatest spiritual teachers on the planet today. She has a profound understanding of the shadow side of our psyche, and how the denial and repression of the shadow causes extreme pain.

She has devoted many years of her life to helping others move beyond a state of denial and into a place of truth. Having been through great trials in her own life, she faced her own shadow and with this courage now helps others do so as well.

I had the great privilege of talking with Debbie Ford today, and was inspired to create this sandtray on day #269 of my year long journey about the light and the shadow.

Sand play is the best way I know to access our shadow. We all have those parts of ourselves we deny, adhore, hate, detest, and ignore. Carl Jung has beautifully taught about the shadow, and the repressed energy of it’s darkness.

Every sand tray a person builds or creates has the energy of that person’s shadow within it. It may be noticable as a dark, scary monster; or it may be in the empty spaces of the tray. It is there no matter what, because every part of us is there in that tray when we build a world.

Every part of us is to be seen, accepted, acknowledged, and enlightened. We all share the traits of the shadow; jealousy, hatred, and despair are common aspects of it’s being. There are none of us who can escape the shadow’s grasp.

It is in every one of us, just as the divine light of God is in every one of us. Our humanity requires the shadow to live and breathe within us. As long as we live we will be learning to acknowledge our shadows, bringing them into the light so we can accept the many complex parts of ourselves, and live with more honesty and truth.

By building worlds in the sand play experience, we learn to accept our shadows as part of our personality. We learn to acknowledge the nit-picky, yucky, controlling, hell-ish, bitchy, and mean parts of who we are.

Then by acknowledging the shadow parts of ourselves, we can more fully acknowledge the brilliant, loving, embracable, generous, caring parts of ourselves as well.

We then see the yin and yang of our existence, the push and pull of our awareness, and more fully live with truth and integrity. We can then let go of judgement of ourselves or others, of depressive thoughts of despair, and denial of our greatness.

We learn to love all parts of ourselves; the good, the bad, and the ugly. We all have the shadow within. Learning to accept our shadows requires a willingness to embrace them, with a desire to truly live in our personal power with full-out pride in who we are.

Visions of angels. Many people have seen either with their physical eyes or their third inner eye visions of angels. Lately my visions are of them carrying my limp body where it needs to go.

After completing 268 days in a row of a sand play journey, I am weary of the adventure but still devoted to it. The angels keep telling me to continue on the journey until I have reached day #365. Even then I will continue it, but not every single day.

Being a practicer of meditation, my third eye is pretty clean, and I “see” the angels carrying me. There are two of them. One on either side of my body. They are carrying me on a mesh blanket through the air. I hear the strong beat of their wings in the night sky, flapping, flapping…moving me to the places I need to go.

It is comforting to experience this vision. The angels remind me they have heard my calls for help, and they are devoted to me carrying out my mission, and to helping others with it. They are here for me, loving me, and supporting me through the day-to-day hassles I move through.

Angels are with us, but we must call for them. We must let them know what we need and want from them.

Read about the angels and the archangels. Your research will give you the insight and knowledge of the angelic realms, and the support they are so ready and willing to give.

If you ask they will carry you to your destiny too.

Overcoming difficulties in life is a challenge. When feeling in the midst of struggle we must persevere and move forward. As one friend today told me, “It was just one foot in front of the other until I got there.”

What are some of the most difficult times of your life? What were the emotions you were going through at that time? What was life like back then? How did you overcome those difficult times?

Getting over and through the hardships of life takes courage. We have fears from every corner but we move above the fear into the light. We soar into the unknown winds of change, having faith that our Creator guides the way.

My friend who lost three of her family members in one tragic accident said: “I don’t know how I got through that first year. I just got up every day, put on my makeup, and did what I needed to do.”

Believing in unknown reasons for our trials, we persevere, knowing an unseen force of spiritual guidance is always there, always beckoning us.

The divine world beyond ours knows our journey means more to the world than we will ever know. Our movements are being recorded beyond this time-bound experience, and the lives we touch are forever changed by our love.

Our courage to step beyond our trials and difficulties brings countless souls after us hope and faith that they too, can move through the learning with grace. We give others an example of faithful strength when we step up and rise above the hardships, remembering we are always spiritually held in supreme love.

Spirituality and overcoming difficulties go together like a hand in a glove.

Louise Hay has been a mentor of mine for many, many years. She was a source of light during an adolescent, internal struggle to discover myself. Her book, “Heart Thoughts” has been on my bookshelf and a ready source of inspiration over the years.

In this book, Louise Hay focuses on bringing a treasury of inner wisdom to our daily lives. She has broken down the book into various areas of focus, such as anger, change, energy, expression, guilt, and mistakes.

I have read it over and over again, and every time I gain new insights. She is a brilliant teacher and heartfelt leader.

An excerpt from her book I love: “In order to change your life outside, you must change inside. The moment you are willing to change, it is amazing how the Universe begins to help you. It brings you what you need.”

When in your life have you moved internally by deliberately working on your inner self, and noticed an external change? For example, the burned-out teacher decides to practice meditation daily and soon after has two difficult children leave her classroom, recieves an unexpected check in the mail, and is invited on a dreamy vacation.

Or the stressed-out businessman attends a personal growth seminar and upon returning home, gets a love letter from his spouse, is asked to partner in a new exciting business, and gets a powerful new client.

The universe rewards our efforts to clean up our inner selves and inner lives. When we treat our spouse, children, and dog as well as we treat our clients, or our boss, we are richly rewarded. When we live our truth from the inside out, knowing deeply we are powerful and important, our lives change in signifant new ways.

I would highly recommend Louise Hay’s book, “Heart Thoughts” because it is a resouce for internal change. It will be like an old positive, supportive friend, always there to inspire and uplift you as you navigate life.

Consistency can be hard. How many times have you started something positive in your life, but gave it up after a few tries?

By doing a consistent spriritual practice of building a sand play world every day, I have learned a lesson about consistency. By making a commitment to myself to begin a 365 day journey; to start it, to move through it, and to eventually finish it, I have learned the lesson of consistency.

Masters tell us we get really good at something after doing it 10,000 hours. It has also been said we need to complete 50 projects in order to master the project.

So for the artist it is 50 paintings. For the writer it is 10,000 hours of writing. For me it is 10,000 hours of witnessing sand play worlds, building sand play worlds, and processing sand play worlds.

It is the same in my meditation practice. It probably did take about 50 times of meditating before I really had it down.

When you think about it, having a consistent practice gives on clarity. It gives one stability. It gives one a habitual way of life that feeds the soul.

Our souls need fed, and they need fed every single day. Meditation is one way of feeding the soul every day. Sand play is another way. In my life, combining the two have truly created miracles.

Create your own miracle today. Learn a new skill or take up one you have enjoyed in the past, and want to renew in your life.

Make the committment to yourself to liven up your life and feed your soul with this practice. You will find new avenues of creative energy within you that were untapped, and unused. With consistent effort, you will reap the rewards of mastery and of self-fullfillment.

How often have you contemplated your divine nature? Have you ever thought about why our earth is so beautiful, and why we were given such beauty to enjoy?

In today’s sand play world; day #263 of 365 days, I was told our Creator gave us flowers for the sole purpose of delighting us.

Think about that for a moment. Flowers were created to delight us, to make us happy, to give us joy. In contemplating this message it became more clear to me just how much we are loved by our Creator.

He knew our earth lives would be full of lessons and hardships. He knew the viel of our understanding of why we are here would be thick, we would be confused, and we would need some elements of delight in order to get through it with some peace.

So He created flowers. To delight us through the trials and hardships of our lives.

Enjoy flowers today. Let them delight you. Pick some from your yard, or buy some at the grocery store. Put them in a pretty vase or glass jar, and place them on your table.

Let them fill the room with fragrance, and notice the simple yet complex beauty of their smiling faces. Remind yourself of how much you are loved by your Creator when you enjoy their beauty. Let the flowers remind you to live in your spiritual greatness.

The inner light inside us is to be discovered. Sometimes we need to be a little crazy in order to find it. We were all created in love, and have the divine light inside us that knows for sure what we came here on earth to do. Day #264 of my sand play experience was a lesson in divine inner light.

When I started this year long sand play journey, I thought I was crazy. So did lots of other people. But I knew I was guided to do it. I knew it was part of my purpose.

I knew I was crazy about sand play, and being crazy in love with it I knew it would serve me to practice it consistently. By doing so I found my passion. I found my purpose. I discovered leading women into their spiritual selves was my purpose at this stage of my life.

What is your passion? What are you crazy about? What are the top 10 things you love to do? Are you doing them? What thing out of those top 10 do you want to practice more consistently?

When your ego says you don’t have enough time to accomplish something fun or great, remember you have the spark of the divine within you. There is nothing you cannot accomplish.

What one person can do, another can do. If your heart sparks with joy about something, that is a clue it is part of your purpose. What get’s you excited?

What brings your heart joy? What have you always wanted to do, but haven’t found the time or the motivation to do it?

What gifts have you been given in your life? What are your personal qualities, characteristics, and strengths? Do you have compassion, motivation, intelligence, or creativity? What gifts has your Creator given you?

We have the choice to focus upon our unique gifts; to hone them, cultivate them, mold them, and detail them to pursue our own personal best.

First we must recognize what those unique gifts are. Then we must focus on them, spending time in the creative pursuit of modifying and changing them into truly graceful, skilled traits we really embody as ours.

We must dig into our own personal passion. What is it we LOVE to do? If you love to bake bread how good are you at this skill? Have you spent mindful time in the kitchen, kneeding the dough until it has the perfect elasticity? Shaping it into a beautiful mold…deeply inhaling the aroma coming from the oven…buttering it while still hot and enjoying the taste of it’s bounty?

Become excellent at your craft. Become excellent at your creative skill. Become a top performer in your field.

My brother Jess is a top performer in his hobby of roping in rodeos. He LOVES to ride horses. He LOVES to master his skill of roping animals and consistently places in top spots competetively. He has found a passion that is his own, and has mastered it with repeated enjoyment and consistency.

It is the same with mastering our focus and attention on our own passion that can only be found by chicking in with ourselvs as spiritual beings. We are spirits in bodies, and our spirits have passion for certain areas of life.

When we are dead we can’t live in our bodies as we do now. When we are dead our spirits find other avenues of creative attention, but when we are here on earth we must grab every moment and taste every last bit of life’s dreamy time-driven experience.

We must experience life in the true sense of mastering it. We must do something crazy, outlandish, and wierd to thrive in life. We must listen to the inner voice of desire, and burn through the inner fears of “I can’t, this is crazy, and what am I thinking?” in order to live with passion.

I invite you to live with passion. I invite you to live a little crazily, to push the boundaries of the status quo in order to discover what passion lies within you.

Having a clear sense of purpose, striving towards excellence, and renewing our faith in ourselves takes practice. Remembering to celebrate the small victories of life is important in order to enjoy the process.

There will always be a new mountain to climb. There will always be another road to walk, another person to meet, and another skill to master.

We will never be “there”. We will never be “ready”. We have to move. Now. We have to GO.

We must move forward and at the same time remember how far we have come. We must celebrate our accomplishments and take a moment to be grateful for our lives; the good and the bad. The challenges and the heartaches along with the moments of pure joy.

It is all there for us. Our victory is ours to take. No-one will celebrate the victory for us. No-one truly understand the depth of our journey except ourselves and God.

So remember to celebrate with God today. Celebrate yourself for the courage you have taken in your life. Celebrate yourself for the relationships you have that are solid, secure, and loving. Celebrate yourself for the way you have helped change the world.

Celebrate yourself today. Celebrate and claim your victory. Remember how far you’ve come on your journey.

When I completed day #260 of my 365-day sand play adventure, I was validated by the spiritual world. I used a little sand tray and drew an angel card. It perfectly described the passion I’ve been feeling in love and in career.

Sometimes I’m floored by how clearly the spiritual world, universe, and God knows me. As one bible verse describes how God knows every hair on your head, it is the same in how He knows every detail of my life.

He knows the passion I feel for Chris, my husband. He knows the passion I feel for my business, in helping empower women with spiritual wisdom. He knows everything. Everything about me, my heart, and my desires.

That gives me comfort. Don’t forget how your Creator knows everything about you. Trust you are never alone on your journey. You have untold invisible resources at your beck and call in the spiritual sense. You can ask for anything you need; guidance, direction, support, and validation.

It is all there for you, waiting to help you.

You are loved beyond measure. You are forgiven of anything you feel shameful about. You are a powerful spark from the heart of God and you deserve all the happiness in the world.

We all have problems in life. Mine seem to be ongoing. I had been looking forward to recieving something to help solve my big problem for many months, and today I recieved the bad news in my inbox that I will not get what I wanted.

Bummer.

So I turned to my beautiful spiritual tool box to gain clarity on my problem. I know there is a bigger divine reason about the way things turn out. I know God leads me in everything that happens. I’m clued in spiritually enough to trust and have faith in disappointments. It doesn’t always feel good however.

A bummer is still a bummer. Before building this world I had mixed feelings; relief, sadness, and confusion.

By intuitively and intentionally creating this world in the sand tray I gained some clarity. It seems the thing I was looking forward to getting would have been a trap. It would have kept me in a stuck place in life, and would have shut the doors that want to be opened into a new life.

Then I thought, “Oh…so that is why this has happened. Ok, it is another lesson in faith and trust. In trusting the problem in my life will be resolved, if I continue on in the places God is leading my heart and my mind.”

Sand play is a fabuous way to access the spiritual truths of our own lives. By playing in a box of sand (I know, it sounds silly) we learn more about who we are and where we are going. By having the intention and prayer before building the world of a distinct desire to understand why life is going a certain way, the answers come in the form of sand, play, figures, and energy.

Disappointment brings spiritual clarity.

We all have both intuition and analytical power within us. Our world tends to promote the analyst. The world asks, “What do you know? How will you solve this problem? What are the facts?” Our schools, in general constantly promote the analyst.

Promotion of the intuitive is rare at best. The world doesn’t ask, “Who are you? How are you feeling? What does your gut tell you about that problem?…or “What is your heart telling to do?”

Yet the intuitive side of our nature is pure power. When we can look inside ourselves and access the unspoken feeling nature that permeates our subconscious, and knows the mysteries of our awareness, we have found the gold mine of understanding.

Intuition is the nudge that tops the factual. It outweighs the facts, because it is based on our subconscious mind that is all-knowing. It’s like light or air, it is everywhere, and when we tap into the spiritual nature of the intuitive, we become like light and air. Breezy, bright, and shining.

How have you expressed courage in your life? In what ways have you been scared, but you’ve pushed through the fear and found courage to do so?

We have many parts and pieces to our personalities. We can expand and express those parts of ourselves that are the best of who we are. We can tap into those pieces in order to live strong, full, and rich lives of courage.

Without courage we don’t have a chance of living a full life. Without courage we can’t tap into those resevours of strength reserved for the worst of times.

Without trust in having spiritual support as we move through life, we can feel very alone indeed. It is much harder to express a full life of couragous strength, when we have no faith in a higher power to help carry us through it.

Just when we want to fall to the ground and get, a small still voice inside says, “Get up. Keep going. You’ve got work to do, and things to experience. It ‘ain’t over yet.”

Believe in the small still voice of knowing inside. Listen to it when you need to find faith, and when you need to express courage. Find it when you are scared, and unsure of where to go next.

Trusting in faithful courage brings an awareness of God’s grace.

In making it to day #250 of a 365 day journey I’ve become weary, tired, and worn-out. It seems every creative journey has it’s challenges. Sometimes I still wonder why I was guided to do this and why I raised my hand and told God that yes, I would do it. What was I thinking?

I feel pregnant with a baby that wants to be born. It is like being 9 months pregnant and hardly being able to move. Being so uncomfortable you want to just cry all the time. Being so ready for the baby to come out of you and live on it’s own.

This sandtray journey is in some ways like becoming pregnant and giving birth. Before we women are pregnant for the first time we have no idea what the journey will be like or feel like. We start to grow, expand, cry, moan, eat everything in site, and are really just along for the ride.

We must accept the changes in our bodies. We must have pure faith that our little baby will survive, be ok, and thrive when finally born. We must get through the long tiring days and sleepless hungry nights until BOOM…it is time.

So what is this pregnant woman in my sandtray today trying to tell me? She is looking towards a woman whose baby has been born. She is singing with joy near the mighty river.

She sees the top of the hill where the mighty river is coming down. I wonder what the mighty river signifies? Perhaps it is the joy and relief I will feel when this daily journey has come to an end.

When I can stop obsessively determining which day I’m on and stop blogging every single second I get time to do so. I’m so tired. This creative journey fatigue has worn me out, but at the same time brought me such gifts. Well…I guess the baby will be born eventually.

When a friend, colleague, or counselor witnesses your sandtray creation the processessing takes you to deeper and deeper levels of emotional release and areas of consciousness. In today’s sandtray my friend and colleague witnessed and helped me process my sandtray world.

(I am self-conscious about this video by the way because the lighting is horrible, I don’t look my best, and I show deep emotional release) I am showing it anyway because I so strongly believe in this work and in giving more people the opportunity to try sandtray that I’m willing to be a bit self-conscious.

I’m grateful to Jennifer Kerner because I trust her and she helped me heal today.

When you watch the video with this post, you will see how I moved through and broke through an internal struggle with fear. I was able to release fear. Then I addressed deeper issues of sadness related to my childhood loneliness, and was able to allow courage to come in more directly into my psyche.

Next I comforted the sad inner child, and moved her to a grown up place with God. She became an adult and she was with friends. The traveler in the sandtray moved closer to God, signifying the internal change I had made inside myself to let go of fear and sadness so I could call on the courage within me to get me closer to God, so I could lean on him.

All of this happened with about 30 minutes of time, but remember I’ve been building sandtray worlds every day for 249 days now so my psyche has had a workout. I was ready to shift into this higher level of consciousness. I was ready to fully let go of the fear that has been holding me back.

My decision to begin this daily sandtray journey was a decision to move myself into a powerful state of being so I could fully heal that which has bound me. Plus I was spiritually guided to do it so I knew there must be a bigger reason to begin.

Without the witness to this world I would not have been able to fully move through the process in the way I did. I would have still gained insight and found meaning to the tray, but having Jennifer witness the world and repeat back my words to me helped move me deeper within myself.

I hope this helps you understand the power of sandtray. Never underestimate the power of the witness in the sandtray process. If you have someone you trust help you process your personal santrays you will move deeper within yourself to promote internal healing.

Our psyche can process and move through mounds and heaps and piles of “stuff” really quickly. In my counseling practice and my meditation classes I have witnessed time and time again how quickly people can move through pain into healing.

By practicing sandtray we allow our psyches to come up and out in the tray itself. We use the symbols of are archetypal knowing to show ourselves in a conscious way the subconscious understanding of our awareness.

Most of our knowledge lives in the layers of consciousness unaware to our conscious minds. Most of our healing power lives there buried within, just waiting to come out and be released into the light of awareness.

By making a world in the sandtray, we use tactical, tangable, holdable, figures which show us the story of our unconscious power. The sandtray toys and figures show us like a dream what it is we need to know. They tell us what is really going on in a present day here and now awareness of our daily lives.

All of my sandtray figures are like my friends. They all have taught me something about myself, and continue to teach me, call to me, and help me through every back-woods light in the dark journey of my soul.

By witnessing my friend and colleague’s sandtray the night before I shot this video above, I was able to further move myself through my own journey. By witnessing the courage in her tray, I was able to move through the courage to face fear in my own.

Powerful is not even a close description to what I am referring to. Jennifer helped me in more ways than she will ever know by sharing with me her pesonal journey in the sandtray, and her personal connection to God.

So by witnessing another’s sandtray, and doing it with the utmost respect, caution, and honoring we move ourselves through our own process of healing within. We allow another’s journey to touch our own, and their courage seeps into our consciousness which gives us permission to do the same.

Visualizing a rose in the center of a spiral we discover the beauty of our inner self. We find in the rose the center of our being, the center of our essence, and the center of our power. We notice that soft, still, small part of ourselves that feels completely at one with all of life.

Meditation brings us to this place. Yoga takes us to this place. Practicing sand play takes us to this place. We find the soft awareness of our intuition. By practicing these techniques we allow our bodies to show us the stillness of our spiritual center. We get quiet enough to feel the wisdom of our soul.
